Caitlin Clark is the frontrunner for this year's WNBA Rookie of the Year award. And in the Indiana Fever's upset victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday afternoon, the No. 1 overall pick further supported her run at the trophy.

Clark scored or assisted on 44 of the Fever's 88 points in Indiana's 88-82 win over Diana Taurasi and the Mercury.

Clark finished the game with 15 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds — nearly becoming the first rookie in WNBA history to record a triple-double.

Right now, the only player to challenge Clark in terms of Rookie of the Year odds is Angel Reese.

With her 10-point, 16-rebound performance against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, Reese set a WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles (10) — passing the record previously held by all-time great Candace Parker.

In most other WNBA draft classes, Reese's production would be more than worthy of a ROTY award — but Clark's superstardom is going to be tough to beat.

Clark and the Fever will face off against the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday night. Reese and the Sky will matchup against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night as well.
