HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A teenager was charged in connection to the death of a man found with “obvious signs of trauma” in a Henrico County parking lot in mid-June.

In a July 1 press release, the Henrico County Police Division said it had made an arrest in connection to a June 16 homicide that took place in the 4600 block of Grand Ledge Court.

On that day, police responding to a shooting call at about 7:30 p.m. found 23-year-old Lamontae Aubrey Scott of the Sandston area of Henrico with “obvious signs of trauma” in a parking lot. He died at the scene.

According to the release, on June 28, an unidentified teenage boy was arrested and charged in connection to this incident. His charges include robbery and two counts of underage possession of a firearm.
