WrestleZone is sad to share the news that northeast independent wrestling legend Bull Butcher passed away at the age of 73 on June 30, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Butcher was trained by the late Ted Petty, and he worked with a number of legends throughout his career, including Jack Victory, Ox Baker, Dr. Death David Schultz, Mad Dog DC Drake, Iron Man Tommy Cairo, Johnny Rodz, Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow, Ric Flair, Maniac Mac Magee, Ivan Putski, Afa and Samu of the Wild Samoans, and Eddie Miranda.

Bull was a classic heel wrestler that could batter his opponents and talk with the best of them.

On behalf of WrestleZone, we send our condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Bull Butcher.
