The Pennsylvania Baseball Coaches Association has announced its selections for the All-State teams, and two Monroe County players have received the honor.

Pocono Mountain East senior pitcher Adam Horvath and junior infielder Rocco DelGiudice were both named to the Second Team for Class 5A. Horvath, who will play collegiately at James Madison, finished with a 7-1 record and recorded 81 strikeouts and 14 walks in 56 1/3 innings pitched. His ERA was 0.74, and he gave up 36 hits and 12 runs during the 2024 season. Horvath was also the Pocono Record Player of the Year.

DelGiudice, who was also named an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference First Team infielder, finished with a .435 batting average and a .540 on-base percentage in 23 games played. Additionally, he drove in 19 runs, was walked 16 times and stole 19 bases while recording a .945 fielding percentage.

Both players were anchors of a Pocono Mountain East team that had the best record on the mountain and finished as District 11 5A runner-ups. While Horvath won't be back to lead the Cardinals, DelGiudice and number of returning starters will be strong competitors for the EPC title and in the District 11 tournament.
