The team worked with the Kentucky State Police’s aviation unit from Hazard to conduct an aerial search. Wolfe County Search & Rescue said due to the large area and heavy vegetation an aerial search was the safest option.

The man was eventually located near an embankment on an old logging road and taken into custody due to, “extenuating circumstances beyond him being lost.”
