Fans applauded Kylie Kelce for the way she handled an altercation with a crazy fan at the end of May.

She was out with her husband, Jason Kelce, on a date night at Steve & Cookies Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Margate City, NJ,  when a fan rudely interrupted the couple and asked for a photo.

When Kylie politely declined, the fan went crazy.

A video captured by a bystander ( via the WTTW podcast ) showed Kylie standing her ground.

So some fans decided to screenshot the moment Kylie stood up to the crazy fan and put it on a shirt. And to make things even better, they had Kylie autograph it at the 2024 New Heights Beer Bowl last week.

    Her reaction was perfect.

And Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce stood up for his sister-in-law when asked about this moment during his recent appearance on that Bussin’ with the Boys podcast on Tuesday.

“Getting to know Kylie and her family and everything throughout the years has just been awesome because she even has that, like, toughness of, ‘Don’t [expletive] with me,’” Travis said. “And you saw that in that video of [her and Jason Kelce ] just trying to have date night with their friends over at the Shore where it’s a big family environment — everybody’s having a good time every single day out there at the Shore — and this lady just comes in trying to be entitled, telling Jason and Kylie like, ‘You have to take a picture with my kid. Like, you’re doing it now.’ It escalated into something that it shouldn’t have even been.”

She stands up for what is right, and Travis explained it best: they are "the nicest people until you take it to that point. And then it's like, 'Alright, now I gotta chokeslam you, b****.'"

In the short clip, you can hear the woman yell to Kylie, "I don't give a f**k who you are, you'll never be allowed in this town again!"

Kylie fires back, "I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you're embarrassing yourself."

The woman later apologized along with the mayor of Margate, Michael Collins.

“On behalf of the City of Margate, I’d like to formally apologize to Jason and Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate over the holiday weekend,” Collins said in a statement. “As a father with young children, I know, as well as anyone, the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer Jason and Kylie an opportunity for a redo date night dinner in Margate on me .”

Travis' comments are the first time someone from the family has spoken about the incident.
