When you arrive at the marker, you'll find yourself below the bridge leading from the Shadow Keep to the Upper Rauh Ruins. If you look at the stone column directly next to the beginning of the bridge's foundations, you'll see a Scarab Beetle hanging on to the side of it. Knock the beetle down with a ranged weapon and kill it to earn the Scattershot Throw Ash of War.
