After qualifying for the 2024 Olympics, Simone Biles couldn't help but reflect on her treatment of former USA Gymnastics teammate Aly Raisman.

Biles and Raisman represented the nation in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The former was 19 at the time, while the latter was 22 and one of the more experienced members of the team after already competing in the 2012 Olympics.

Apparently, however, Biles and their teammates called Raisman "grandma" back then because of her age. Now that Biles is 27 and heading to the Olympics again, she realized that she might have been a little too harsh towards her former teammate.

"So now, I definitely have to apologize to Aly for calling her grandma because, whew, I feel like I’m way older now than me calling her grandma when we were younger," Biles admitted, via Gymnastics Now.

Simone Biles actually made history as the oldest female American gymnast to qualify for the Olympics since the 1950s. With that said, the "grandma" jokes might really come back to haunt her.

But age aside, Biles is highly expected to win a gold medal in the Paris Olympics later this July. If she's able to deliver, no one would be able to poke fun at her for sure.
