Kwik Trip launching new distribution center in DeForest

DEFOREST, Wis. -- Kwik Trip announced a new distribution center will be introduced in DeForest.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday July 10 at 4309 WI-19.

Kwik Trip said the 280,000 square foot facility will sit on a 150-acre parcel of land the store purchased earlier this year.

The new facility will serve 350 Kwik Trip stores when completed.

This is the first distribution center outside of the city of Lacrosse. "With our consistent growth in the number of stores, it is important for us to find the most efficient way to provide our stores with the many products they need," said Scott Zietlow CEO and president of Kwik Trip. "Our new Distribution Center is an exciting development for Kwik Trip.

Kwik Trip said the Distribution Center will include a truck wash and maintenance facility and an on-site health clinic for its coworkers.

Kwik Trip will employ 400 coworkers in these facilities.
