Get lucky with Delaware beaches? Lottery teases new game

Lottery players will soon have a new option.

Delaware State Lottery has said a new game is coming later this summer … and it appears to play off the state’s popular beaches.

Here’s what we know so far:

New Delaware Lottery game

Not much has been released about the game ahead of its planned August release.

Delaware Lottery has been tight-lipped and officials there have not responded to requests for information or comment on the game.

On social media and the lottery’s website, the agency has posted teaser images, most featuring summer themes.

One image features a sunset picture with a pair of flip-flops resting over the word “Play.”

Another image also features the word “Play,” this time on a water scene with a pink flamingo pool raft.

On Facebook, Delaware Lottery posted on June 24 a teaser announcement, reading “Kick back, relax, and get ready to step into more summer fun this August with an all-new way to play and win from the Delaware Lottery.”

The post ends with a sun emoji followed by “A new game announcement is coming soon.”

A third teaser image on Instagram has a starfish and seashell over the word “Play” on a sandy-beach background.
