Roads are reopened and power restored in the area of a Tuesday morning crash on River Road NE.

Deputies and fire crews responded to a serious crash that took out power poles and caused an outage on River Road NE at Waconda Road NE, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Officials reported on social media at 6:14 a.m. that the road would be closed for an unknown period to replace several power poles and that PGE was on scene.

PGE reports on its outage map that 134 customers were affected. Its initial estimate was that power would be restored by 10 a.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, according to dispatch traffic, including a semi with trailer. The 911 call came in at 5:12 a.m. The first Marion County Sheriff's deputy on scene reported wires across Waconda.
