Man dies weeks after woman hit him over head during argument, Montgomery County police say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A 40-year-old man died in Montgomery County in June, weeks after police say he was involved in an argument that had escalated.

Officers with the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) were called to the 20200 block of Bucklodge Road around 7:30 p.m. on June 14, 2024.

MCPD said that Marvin Rolando Guevara Guevara had gotten into an argument with a woman about “his dogs running loose into the neighborhood and into her family’s property.” Police said that the argument escalated and the woman hit Guevara Guevara in the head.

Responders took him to the hospital. He died there on June 30.

MCPD said it was still waiting on an official cause and manner of death from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
