    Fire in Placer County forces people to evacuate their homes

    (FOX40.COM) — Evacuations were underway amid a fire that recently broke out, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

    Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, PCSO said a fire was burning in North Auburn off Sisson Road. Deputies were on the scene to help evacuate homes on Country Side Lane and Sierra Park Lane, however, at 6:30 p.m. the evacuation order was lifted.
