Stark County man wanted for questioning after local woman goes missing

PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – Law enforcement is searching for a suspect wanted for questioning after a Stark County woman went missing.

Just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Stark County sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate in the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive NW in Plain Township.

After searching the area, investigators were unable to find 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan, of Plain Township, who was entered into a national database for missing persons.

During the investigation, deputies say they noticed a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered in Sheridan’s name, heading down Guilford Avenue NW.

Sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle, but the driver, identified as 26-year-old Sean Goe, of Plain Township, ran off on foot, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators say deputies and a K-9 unit searched the area, but they were unable to find the suspect.

According to the sheriff’s office, Goe was last seen in the area of 38th Street NW and Guilford Avenue NW.

He’s wanted for questioning, but investigators say Goe also has active warrants for burglary, grand theft of a firearm and domestic violence.
