Shawn Michaels Says Brooks Jensen Has Not Been Released, Invites Him To Meeting On WWE NXT

Shawn Michaels provided an update on Brooks Jensen ‘s status on WWE NXT.

In recent weeks, Brooks Jensen has been quite disruptive. He has lashed out at the NXT broadcast team, and he has expressed his frustration on social media. Jensen was kicked out of NXT, and he was even “arrested” on the June 18 episode of NXT. Jensen then interfered in NXT Champion Trick Williams’ match on the June 25 episode of NXT after he had claimed that his contract was up on June 21.

In a video on the July 2 episode of NXT, SVP of NXT and Talent Relations Shawn Michaels addressed the situation. He clarified that Jensen had not been released. However, he said that Jensen had been asked to take a sabbatical to clear his head, and that did not happen. Michaels then invited Jensen to a meeting with NXT General Manager Ava on the July 9 episode of NXT to discuss his future.
