FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– We now know who the Democratic candidate will be for Indiana state representative in district 42.

As we’ve reported the Indiana Democratic Party was searching for a candidate. That’s because Chad Harmon who filed and won the nomination was forced to withdraw due to a health situation. Today we learned Ashlee Vitz will now fill the candidacy.

“If you choose to vote for me, someone who has always been a part of this district, I assure you that I will fight for the right things to support, Hoosiers communities.” Says Vitz.

The Republican candidate in this race is incumbent Alan Morrison.

District 42 includes parts of Clay, Parke, Vermillion, Fountain, and Vigo counties.
