Lawrence County Fair starts July 6. Here's what you need to know

The 54th annual Lawrence County Fair, running from July 6 to July 13, 2024, will be a celebration for all. The Lawrence County fairgrounds are open to everyone, ensuring that all fairgoers, regardless of age or interest, can be part of this community event.

How much does the Lawrence County Fair cost?

There is no cost for admission or parking for the Lawrence County Fair, however several of the special events do have a cost.

The July 6 Demo Derby costs adults $15, $5 for children 3-12 years old, and kids under 3 are free. Other events with additional costs will be July 7’s Bar MC Rodeo, July 8’s Pig Scramble, and Quads on July 9 ($10 adults, $5 for 3-12, and free under 3.)

The main event is Micro-Wrestling on July 11, where ringside seats are $25. General admission will be $10 for adults and free under 3.

What other Lawrence County Fair events are there?

Free events starting on July 6 and running throughout the fair include an Expo Hall, Steel Horse Carnival, Kid Bucks Game Show, Dog Showmanship, and Horse and Pony Showmanship. DeBosse Music performs July 6 from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and musical performers are scheduled nightly through Wednesday.
