Mild with some sun Wednesday before storm chances return for the 4th - Savanna

• Isolated storm chance on July 4th

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Wednesday morning clouds will start to decrease and some sunshine will return by the afternoon. Mostly clear skies will continue throughout tonight. Highs will be in the mid to lower 80s.

EXTENDED FORECAST: For the fourth, w e're looking at isolated storms, a few could be on the stronger side, that would definitely produce brief downpours in the late afternoon and early evening. Our best chance of more widespread showers and storms still look to be after most firework shows during the late and overnight hours Thursday into Friday. If we're able to see a few strong to even severe storms, our threats would be gusty winds and hail. Temperatures will be cooler Friday likely only in the mid 70s across most of southern Wisconsin. Temperatures the rest of this upcoming weekend and most of next week will remain in the upper 70s and lower 80s, which is near normal.
