The reporter has dropped hints of marital troubles, notably by changing her social media handle from "Amanda Balionis Renner" to just "Amanda Balionis."
Balionis has been hitched to ex-NFL quarterback Bryn Renner for a couple of years, but the rumor mill suggests they've parted ways, though it's not officially confirmed yet.
Her return to golf broadcasting is eagerly anticipated by fans, with Balionis having established herself as CBS's top tour correspondent. And much like her husband, she's made quite the name for herself in her field, reports the Mirror US .
A high-school star in baseball, basketball and football, Renner decided to focus on the latter after being offered a scholarship to play quarterback at the University of North Carolina - aiming to emulate NFL legends like Lawrence Taylor and Julius Peppers.
In his third year with the school, Renner became the starting quarterback, catching the attention of NFL teams after throwing for 26 touchdowns to 13 interceptions. He followed this up with an even more impressive season, with 28 touchdowns to just seven interceptions before an injury-riddled final year saw his NFL Draft stock take a hit.

Renner had entered the season as a potential first-round pick in the 2014 class, but a shoulder injury in his final year caused enough concern for teams to not take a risk on him at any point in the draft - resulting in him going undrafted.
He was eventually given a chance, signing with the Denver Broncos ahead of the 2014 season - but failed to make an impact and was let go by the team after preseason.
After impressing in the Arena Football League, he signed for the Baltimore Ravens, who had him on their active roster for one game before letting him go. Renner then spent two years signing and subsequently being released by the Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers before moving into coaching college football.
He is currently the quarterbacks coach at La Jolla High School in San Diego.
