1 wanted, 1 in custody after Horry County authorities respond to report of people passed out in vehicles along Highway 707

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person is in custody, and authorities are looking for a second person after an incident late Wednesday morning on Highway 707 in Horry County, authorities said.

An Horry County police spokesperson said officers were called to the area after two people were found passed out in vehicles near a car wash. The person taken into custody is facing a drug charge.

The incident drew a large number of law-enforcement personnel to the area near Gold Place Lane.
