Ranking Every Quarterback Room In The NFC West
By Dravin Murti,

The NFC West is highly contested every year and each team has a bitter rivalry. That said, each team has a very stable quarterback situation right now. No team has a rookie or relies on a newcomer to prove themselves; it is solely established starters who can win games. So, it begs the question: who has the best quarterback room?
4) Seattle Seahawks
This may be surprising, but they have to be put in fourth place. Geno Smith and Sam Howell would be nowhere near the bottom in most divisions but they are in the NFC West. Smith is a bridge quarterback, and while capable of winning games and maybe getting you to the playoffs, he is not much more than that. The Seahawks also brought in Sam Howell, who I think is incredibly underrated from his time in Washington. Seattle is not in a bad spot; they just don't have the same standards as the other teams in their division.
3) Arizona Cardinals
Some may crucify me for putting Kyler Murray above the Seahawks' solid depth, but to me, it was an easy decision. Kyler Murray is a game-changer when healthy and surrounded by decent weapons, which seems to be the case this season. With Trey McBride, Rondale Moore, and the number three overall pick, Marvin Harrison Jr., catching passes from Murray, it will no doubt elevate his game back to the level it was when he had DeAndre Hopkins. While the Cardinals may not have two starters, Murray is enough to get the Cardinals the third spot.
2) Los Angeles Rams
The Rams were a surprisingly clear number two option here, as they have two beacons of consistency ready to go whenever needed. Matthew Stafford is elite when healthy and can dominate games and turn specific receivers into legends. But the signing of Jimmy Garoppolo is what sets them apart. While Stafford is incredible, he has dealt with injuries in the past. If that does happen this season, which it hopefully won't, then the Rams have a backup that is good enough to carry the load for them.
1) San Francisco 49ers
Was this a surprise to anyone? While he may be a product of the system around him, Brock Purdy has dominated the NFL and has now gone to a Superbowl as the starting quarterback. Purdy is far and away the best starter in the division, even in the MVP race last year before losing out to the Ravens' Lamar Jackson. Backing up Purdy, the 49ers have the "Passtronaut", Josh Dobbs, who proved himself capable during his time in Minnesota last year. The 49ers are the clear number-one choice, and I don't see that changing any time soon.
