RuPaul Announces Major Twist in This Week's 'All Stars 9' (Exclusive)

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 9 may be almost done, but the competition is far from over. That's because in this week's episode Mama Ru is unveiling yet another twist that's here to shake up the competition.

In an exclusive first look at Episode 9, RuPaul arrives in the Werk Room to unveil this week's maxi challenge, a horror movie-themed Rusical. Once he's informed the queens that they'll be singing, dancing and exorcising demons on stage, he drops the real bombshell: it's still anyone's race to win.

At the previous pace of awarding only one Benefactress Badge per week to the queens, and with only three opportunities to earn badges left before the Episode 12 finale, the odds seemed dire for several competitors. However, Ru informed the queens that this week both challenge winners will receive two Benefactress Badges, one to keep and one to give away.

Ru then informed the queens that "There's still a way for each of you to make it to the top three." Meaning that enough badges will be awarded in Episodes 9-11 to turn the game on its head. Plus, with the Ruby Snippers twist ended, no one is disqualified from earning Badges in the run-up to the finale.
