Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer.

We went 2-1 in strikeout props on Tuesday to get back to .500 on the week and improve to 13-8 in our last 21 picks. Let's make it two profitable days in a row with another three-pack of K props for Wednesday's MLB slate.

Zack Wheeler over 6.5 Ks (-142 FanDuel )

Phillies at Cubs, 8:05 p.m. ET

Wheeler has gone over this line only once in his last five starts, but this is a perfect matchup for him to rack up Ks. The Chicago Cubs have the second-highest strikeout rate in MLB against righties over the last two weeks (28.2 percent), and this lineup has struggled against Wheeler in the past. Current Cubs hitters have a 31.0 percent K rate and a .229 batting average against Wheeler in 87 plate appearances.

Jon Gray under 3.5 Ks (+134 FD )

Padres at Rangers, 8:05 p.m. ET

This is a great spot to fade Gray. The Texas Rangers right-hander has gone under this line in four straight starts, and this is the toughest matchup he'll face in that span. The San Diego Padres have the lowest whiff rate, the highest chase contact rate and the second-highest zone contact rate in MLB this year. They also have the lowest K rate in the league against righties over the last two weeks (15.6 percent). In 140 combined plate appearances against Gray, current Padres hitters are striking out only 15.0 percent of the time.

Dean Kremer over 5.5 Ks (+126 FD )

Orioles at Mariners, 10:10 p.m. ET

Kremer has been a bit of a boom-or-bust pitcher this year in terms of strikeouts. The Orioles right-hander has recorded 10 strikeouts in two of his nine starts, but he’s also managed three or fewer Ks in three starts. This is a great spot for another boom performance, as the Seattle Mariners have the highest strikeout rate (37.3%) and the fourth-lowest batting average (.192) against righties over the last week. Seattle has been the worst strikeout team in the league all season, and it's only getting worse.
