New York Jets' Aaron Rodgers outrageously excluded from 'Clutch QB' List

    Not even Top 10?

The disrespect of New York Jets ' future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is real.

He has 59,055 career pass yards and 475 touchdown passes, but there are really 10 active quarterbacks one would rather have on the field in the fourth quarter?

CBS Sports analyst Douglas Clawson identified, in rank order, the Top 10 "most clutch quarterbacks" in today's NFL and the 40-year-old Rodgers did not qualify for the list that featured New York Giants ' starter Daniel Jones and Dallas Cowboys ' field general Dak Prescott.

"Essentially, how often does a quarterback lead his team down the field successfully in do-or-die situations, and how does he perform on those drives? I broke those numbers down between a quarterback's career in the regular season, career in the playoffs, and 2023 performance. All of these were evenly weighted and used to churn out this top 10 list of the most clutch quarterbacks in the NFL," said Clawson of his methodology.

Reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) and 2023 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year CJ Stroud (Texans) ranked first and second, respectively.

Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, owns a 148-75-1 regular season record as a starter. Two of his unforgettable fourth-quarter comebacks happened in 2018. First, he helped the Green Bay Packers erase a 20-0 second-half deficit (20-3 at start of fourth) and defeat the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. On December 23 that season, Rodgers led the Packers to a 15-point comeback that allowed for a 44-38 overtime win over the Jets.
