The Kelce brothers discussed their offseason plans at the start of the show.

And Jason , 36, revealed that they put the mic away until sometime in the second half of August because of the Kansas City Chiefs ‘ season preparations.

“We got a nice couple of months off from podcasting because in three weeks’ time, Travis will be in the middle of training camp,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center said .

“And let me tell you, there’s not enough time to do a podcast, especially the best podcast in the world.

“He’s going to be busy, focusing on football, getting in shape for this upcoming season.

“So we’re going to be off for about two months.”

Travis , 34, appeared eager to get started on Season 3 as soon as possible, though.

“I’m down to pick it back up once we’re done with training camp,” the Chiefs tight end said.

New Heights has been a tremendous success.

The show won the Podcast of the Year Award this year.

It also helped kickstart Jason’s broadcast career.

The Eagles legend wowed TV executives with his on-air charisma, leading to several lucrative analyst job offers once he called time on his career, The U.S. Sun reported in March .

“When you see him talking in his podcast, you see someone very good at talking in a microphone and being very straightforward about his opinions,” an NFL source said at the time.

“He has millions of great stories to tell as he has played with many, many players and worked with tons of staff in his long career.

    'It was a short retirement!'

Jason Kelce didn't stay retired in the NFL for long.

The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman called it quits after the 2023 season.

But he will be part of ESPN’s coverage on Monday Night Football in 2024.

Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm-8pm ET every week as well as during the halftime show.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement!” he joked.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.

“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment.

“And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”

“You have guys that are born to be TV pundits and I think that Jason is one of those guys. He can become a TV star very quickly.”

Jason eventually signed a three-year deal with ESPN worth $1.8 million annually.

He also received a $1 million sign-on bonus.

Meanwhile, Travis opened up on his cameo during one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in London.

The Chiefs carried his popstar girlfriend on the stage as part of the choreography.

And he apparently was very nervous that he would drop Taylor .

“Listen, the one thing I told myself is: ‘Do not drop the baby. Do not drop this — do not drop Taylor on your way over to this damn couch,'” he said during the New Heights season finale.

“The golden rule was: ‘Do not drop Taylor getting her over to the couch.'”
