AM Fog/Low Clouds; otherwise, a pleasant Saturday

WHAT WE ARE TRACKING: Dry and pleasant conditions are expected on Saturday after any morning fog burns off. Showers do return late Saturday night.

NEXT 24 HRS: Cloud cover decreases later this evening, with patchy fog developing by early Saturday morning. Temperatures will fall into the middle to upper 50s. There is plenty of sun early on Saturday once any fog burns off. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s by the afternoon under partly to mostly sunny skies.

LOOKING AHEAD: Showers return later Saturday night and continue through Sunday morning as a weak system approaches the area. Additional showers and some thunderstorms are likely by Sunday afternoon as the low pressure moves through the area. More systems or fronts will impact the area Monday through Wednesday, resulting in shower and thunderstorm chances, although more of the nuisance variety. We do not expect significant rainfall during this period, and there will be plenty of dry periods. An extended dry period is likely after Wednesday, with high temperatures returning to seasonable levels (middle 80s) by the weekend. Even warmer temperatures are possible by the start of the following work week, with dry conditions continuing.
