    Beulah community hosting grand opening of new fire station

    ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. ( WKRG ) — The Beulah community will have more fire protection as officials with Escambia County are set to hold a grand opening of a new fire station.

    According to a news release, the ribbon-curring for the Bradshaw-McNair Beulah Fire Station, named after late District Chief Dwain Bradshaw and retired ECFR District Chief Steve McNair, is scheduled for Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m.

    The new fire station at 6400 W. Nine Mile Road, which had its groundbreaking back in May 2022 was constructed by Emerald Coast Constructors Inc. and funded by Local Operation Sales Tax.

    LOCATION:

    Officials said the 14,503-square-foot facility is equipped with four vehicle bays for trucks, a kitchen, a living room, a gym, bedrooms, shower facilities, and a community meeting and training room for public use to serve the Beulah community.

    “This is an exciting time for the community of Beulah and for Escambia County Fire Rescue,” Beulah Fire Chief Adam Harrison said.

    “We have seen tremendous growth and opportunity in this community, and we’re honored to continue the elevation of Beulah with the addition of this fire station, which will serve the Beulah citizens 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
