Caitlin Clark is headed to the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game. The Indiana Fever rookie guard earned the nod as a 2024 WNBA All-Star after garnering the most fan votes to join Team WNBA.

Clark secured a whopping 700,735 fan votes. That topped the next-closest vote-getter by more than 82,000 votes. Of course, next in line with the second-most fan votes was Clark’s teammate, forward Aliyah Boston.

Joining Boston and Clark as part of the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game on Team WNBA is Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell. That trio gave Indiana the most All-Star selections on Team WNBA.

After the Fever’s 88-69 loss on Tuesday night at the two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces , Boston commented on what it meant for her and her two teammates to be named as All-Stars for Team WNBA.

“Yeah, I think it’s special. I think it just goes to show the talent that we have on this team. I mean, it’s really amazing to be able to play together as an All-Star, but also I think this is really exciting for Caitlin. Being a rookie, coming in and just having an impact the way that she does and so congrats,” Boston said.

With their selections, Boston and Mitchell are now both two-time WNBA All-Stars. Mitchell was focused on the importance it has for Indiana as an organization, though.

“It’s a really, really big thing for our franchise, but I think more importantly, it kind of shows where we are as players and what we aspire to be individually. I think any great player, any great competitor has an All-Star somewhere down their list. We put in a lot of hard work and so it feels good to kind of see these two ladies smile about this process. And myself, together we can experience it,” Mitchell said.

Clark had a similar reaction to her All-Star selection as Boston and Mitchell did to theirs. But, Clark was also happy that she will be surrounded by two familiar faces in Phoenix.

“Yeah, we all get to be on the same team, so at least we’ll have each other. We can have some familiarity I guess. Obviously, it’s fun, it’s cool for myself to accomplish this in my rookie year, but I’m just lucky to be a part of and with these two.

“It’s big for our franchise, too. I think it just shows the talent we have and slowly just putting that together and the future is bright. Obviously, me and AB, year one and year two. Kelsey here is a little bit older, but other than that, it’s pretty exciting,” Clark said.

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. CT on ABC. It features the 12-player Team WNBA squad against the USA Basketball Women’s National Team.

The initial selection of the All-Stars was conducted through a combination of voting by fans (50 percent of the vote), current WNBA players (25 percent) and a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters (25 percent).

Boston, Clark, Dearica Hamby and Arike Ogunbowale, who are not currently on the USA Women’s National Team 5-on-5 roster, were automatically named to participate in the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game and assigned to Team WNBA as a result of being in the top 10.

The names of the next 36 highest vote-getters not already on the USA Women’s National Team, available here , were then provided to the 12 WNBA head coaches, who voted to fill the remaining spots for the 12-player Team WNBA roster. Coaches were not able to vote for their own players. Each coach was required to submit votes for five frontcourt players, three guards and four additional players at any position.

The additional eight players who are named to the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game are: DeWanna Bonner (Connecticut Sun), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream), Brionna Jones (Connecticut), Jonquel Jones (New York), Kayla McBride (Minnesota), Kelsey Mitchell (Indiana), Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm) and Angel Reese (Chicago Sky).
