Kevin Durant, A’ja Wilson Pair Up For Major Team USA Reveal

The 2024 Paris Olympics are right around the corner, and both the men's and women's Team USA basketball rosters have been announced.

Among the players representing Team USA this year are Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant and Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson. Both players are two of the biggest names in the NBA and the WNBA, respectively, and they have teamed up to make a big Team USA announcement.

On Wednesday, Durant and Wilson joined Nike to unveil the USA's 2024 Olympics jerseys. Durant revealed the men's white jersey, while Wilson revealed the women's red. Both jerseys will include a Nike swoosh patch and the men's will feature an American flag patch.

After one season with the Texas Longhorns, Durant was selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. He spent time with the Oklahoma City Thunder/Seattle Supersonics, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, and now the Suns. During his long career, Durant has won two NBA titles and an MVP award.

Wilson won an NCAAW National Championship with the South Carolina Gamecocks before being selected as the No. 1 pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. She is a two-time WNBA champion and a two-time MVP.

Both Durant and Wilson won gold medals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The men's team will begin their 2024 Olympic journey on Sunday, July 28, against Serbia, and the women's team will start their Olympic play on Monday, July 29, against Japan.
