    Robert Griffin III Slaps Caitlin Clark Haters With Strong Message On Social Media

    Caitlin Clark will not participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics with Team USA, but she is well on her way to becoming perhaps the most important player in WNBA history, judging by her rookie season results so far.

    Improved ratings, sky-high ticket prices and increased interest in the league and sport have resulted during Clark's rookie season with the Indiana Fever, while also increasing the appeal of her peers like Angel Reese and A'Ja Wilson.

    On Wednesday, July 3, longtime sports analyst and former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III slapped Caitlin Clark haters back with a strong message on his X account that is going viral.

    "Most people watch the W because of her. Period," Griffin said.

    "Yes. the WNBA is more popular than ever. Yes, it's because of Caitlin Clark."

    Griffin added that Caitlin Clark's critics and haters should accept her impact on the league and the sport for what it is and kindly move along.

    "It's okay to admit that there are better players in the WNBA right now than Caitlin Clark, but she is the most coveted," Griffin III wrote .

    "It's okay to admit that no team is more watched or has broken more TV viewership and arena attendance records than the Indiana Fever and it's because of Caitlin Clark," Griffin III concluded, adding that he believes it will take "ALL" of the WNBA's most talented women to carry the game forward.
