Were Mahomes Family Comments A Diss Towards Tom Brady?

The guys talk about comments that Patrick Mahomes’ mom reiterated that the QB will not play if it takes him away from his family & if it was a diss to Tom Brady + does Mahomes HAVE to play as long as Tom Brady to be the GOAT?

Rich Davis: “He might say, ‘Tom's my Hero, a legend’ but he might also say, ‘I see what happens when you play til 45 and your kids grow up before your very eyes and you're not there all the time, with all due respect, I'm not going to take that path.’ Is that a sneak diss or just a realization?"

Steve Covino: “We're projecting that thought in reality, but there is something to it because we immediately think of Tom Brady. So you know, I don't think it was intentional, but I think as great of a competitor as he is, he wouldn’t want to leave greatness on the table, so even though he says that now, we’ll see what happens in the future.”
