    ACPD: Man hurt after hit in head with gun, suspect in custody

    ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Police in Arlington said charges are pending against a man after he hit someone in the head with a gun on Thursday.

    The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) said just before 11:30 a.m., officers were called to the 800 block of S. Frederick Street for a “trouble unknown.”

    Their investigation revealed that two men got into an argument at an apartment building. As the fight escalated, police said one of the men pulled out a gun and hit the other man on the head.

    Medics treated the victim at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

    The suspect was located in the area and arrested.

    Police said there was no ongoing threat related to this incident.
