    Central Ohio Weather and Radar

A band of showers is moving through central Ohio, with brief gusty winds and quick downpours in some areas.

The spark is a wave of low pressure riding along a stalled boundary near the I-70 corridor. Patchy fog will develop late tonight as the showers fade off to the east after midnight.

A cold front will approach from the west late Friday afternoon, as low pressure tracks across northern Michigan, triggering a few bands of showers and gusty storms. The rain threat will end after sunset with frontal passage.

Slightly cooler and drier air will move for the remainder of the holiday weekend, with highs in the mid-80s and some sunshine.

The next chance for a few storms comes on Tuesday, with a gradual warm-up and higher humidity.
