Aaron Rodgers Dispels Bad-Guy Myth With Huge Donation

One guy the media loves to come after is New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Every move he makes is heavily scrutinized, and anything deemed outside the acceptive narrative is used against him.

But according to ESPN reporter Rich Cimini, Rodgers might not be such a bad guy after all. You might not hear this from those outlets that love to tee off on the future Hall of Famer.

According to Cimini, Rodgers has donated $100,000 to help with wildfire evacuees in Northern California. Cimini said the fires have been burning since Tuesday and have forced around 28,000 people to evacuate.

Rodgers is looking to make a comeback this season after a torn Achilles ended his year just a few snaps into Week 1. Rodgers' trade to the Jets was the big move of the 2023 offseason, and he was supposed to be the guy who would right the ship in New York.

He recently came under fire for skipping the Jets' mandatory minicamp in June. The absence was not excused by the team.

Instead, Rodgers was on a pre-planned trip to Egypt, a vacation that he had scheduled last year while he was recovering from his injury.
