The knockout round of the 2024 Copa America officially kicks off tonight in Houston, and just as they did with the tournament as a whole, reigning champions Argentina will open the round with a July Fourth tilt against Ecuador.
As the stage name implies, the winners here will continue on to next week’s semifinals while the losing team will be eliminated from the tournament; this means there will be no more draws and tied games will continue into a penalty kick shootout to determine a winner.
Tonight’s game airs on FOX, but Sling TV and DIRECTV Stream will carry the game at a discount or free entirely for new subscribers who want to tune in to watch Argentina and Ecuador in the knockouts.
