PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Any showers and thunderstorms should end overnight with mostly cloudy skies. Saturday will feature skies becoming partly sunny with very mild temperatures. There is a small chance of a late afternoon shower or storm, yet many will stay completely dry Saturday.

EXTENDED FORECAST: Scattered showers and storms return again by Sunday. Next week will feature on-and-off shower and storm chances, especially during the peak heating of each afternoon and early evening, but all day washouts are not expected. Temperatures will stay normal for this time of year through the end of next week. Later next weekend, it will turn warmer and more humid.
