After a big swim in the 400 IM on Thursday night, Zhang was back in action in the women’s 100 fly on Friday night, where she won in a time of 1:00.53. The performance came in just off Zhang’s career best of 1:00.10, which she set in May of this year. Fellow 16-year-old Sage Miller, a product of Iolani Swim Club in Honolulu, HI, came in 2nd with a 1:00.95.
