    65 days till Patriots season opener: Every player to wear No. 65 for New England

    The New England Patriots will open their 2024 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, which is now 65 days away.

    Until the opening kickoff of the season for the Patriots, we'll be counting down each day by looking back at those who have worn each specific jersey number.

    Since 1960, 17 players have worn No. 65 in New England, and with 65 days until their first game of the year, here's a look at everyone who's worn the number for the team:

    OT Zuri Henry: Present

    • Signed as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP

    OL James Ferentz: 2021-23

    • Appeared in 40 games for New England over six seasons
    • Also played for the Denver Broncos

    OL Jordan Devey: 2014

    • Appeared in seven games in one season with New England
    • Also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers

    OL Nick McDonald: 2011-12

    • Appeared in 16 games for New England over two seasons
    • Also played for the Cleveland Browns

    OT Wesley Britt: 2006-08

    • Appeared in 16 games for New England over three seasons

    OL Damien Woody: 1999-2003

    • Appeared in 78 games for New England over five seasons, winning two Super Bowls and making one Pro Bowl
    • Also played for the Detroit Lions and New York Jets

    OL Mike Arthur: 1993-94

    • Appeared in 25 games for New England over two seasons
    • Also played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers (winning Super Bowl 31 over the Patriots)
