    Deputies search for missing 64-year-old woman

    ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCBD) – A search is underway after a 64-year-old woman left a residence on foot after becoming upset, and never returned.

    Carmen Thomas, 64, was reported missing from a residence on the 2500 block of Bull Swamp Rd. Investigators learned Tomas left the residence on July 2 on foot after becoming upset.

    “If anyone has seen her or has any idea where she may be, please let us know,” said Sheriff Leroy Ravenel. “We want to get this lady back home as soon as possible.”

    Officials say she was last seen wearing green tights, a green tank top, and gold and brown sandals. She also left carrying a suitcase.

    If anyone has any information on Thomas’ whereabouts, they are urged to call the Orangeburg County Communications Center at 803-534-3550.
