Bron Breakker on impressive WWE ascent in 2024: ‘My goal is to be a top player and carry the brand’

In case you haven’t noticed, Bron Breakker is much more than just a big, strong guy who can throw other humans around with a fair amount of ease. Of course, he can do that as well, but his ascension within the ranks of the WWE is neither tied solely to that or the fact he’s of the Steiner bloodline, but also the fact he’s an outstanding athlete, wrestler and mic worker.

It’s all led to legends like Lex Luger saluting his potential.

Breakker’s outstanding rookie year on WWE RAW has now seen him send Ricochet off with a blast (and a hospital trip), a rampage throughout the roster due to fury over being omitted from the 2024 King of the Ring tournament, sensational matches and wins over Ijla Dragunov, shredding Ludwig Kaiser and now preparing to take on Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank on July 6 in Toronto — for his first-ever shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

"I take this a day at a time and try to stack as many positive days in a row as I possibly can because you’re either getting better, or you’re getting worse” Breakker told “The Masked Man Show” ahead of MITB, via Fightful. “My goal is to get better every single day, every single time that I step out as the best version of me that the fans have ever seen.

“I owe it to them to give them my 100% best every single time they see me because I’m new, I’m a rookie.”

His run in NXT served as a phenomenal setup for his selection to RAW this year, and he’s taken full advantage of every opportunity, to say the very least.

Breakker is extremely over with the crowd, already, but he understands not everyone knows and/or understands exactly what he’s capable of yet.

“I treat it every single time when I go out as these people don’t know who I am, they’ve never seen me before,” he said. “My mentality is to earn these people’s respect, that I belong up here, and not only do I belong, but I can be a main player here for a very long time. So that’s my mindset going forward on the main roster. My goal is to be a top guy in the future and to just carry the brand.”

At this rate, that’s exactly what he’ll become soon.

Up next is a title match with an active WWE legend, but no pressure, right?
