Top 10 Wide Receivers In The NFL In 2024

    By Drew Palmer,

There are a ton of great pass catchers in the NFL . They make it hard to narrow it down to just a top ten, but we’re going to try. Surely, you can guess the top three; it’s not hard to do. After that? It gets to be a pretty heated debate, depending on where your allegiance lies.

    10. DJ Moore

In his first season as a member of the Chicago Bears, DJ Moore had potentially the best year of his career, catching 96 passes for 1,364 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 14.2 yards per reception and 80.2 yards per game. Now he enters year two with the Bears, projecting to be the number one receiver in a reshuffled offense that now features guys like Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze on top of a returning Cole Kmet . That’s a lot of mouths to feed.

    9. Garrett Wilson

Jets star Garrett Wilson has had an odd first couple of seasons in the NFL, but this season, he should be able to settle in with Aaron Rodgers if he stays healthy. Wilson has been able to post back-to-back 1,000+ receiving-yard seasons despite having Zach Wilson throwing him the ball. With Rodgers under center, expect Wilson to take steps toward superstar status in 2024.

    8. Stefon Diggs

It’s going to be odd to see Stefon Diggs in Houston at first, but he and CJ Stroud might be nightmare fuel for defenses, especially considering all the other weaponry around them. Diggs is coming off a season that saw him catch 107 passes for 1,183 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 69.6 yards per game and 37 profanities slung at Josh Allen on the sideline. He and Stroud will be a great connection if he has the right headspace.

    7. Amon-Ra St. Brown

Last season for the Lions, Amon-Ra St. Brown had 119 receptions for 1,515 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, with his 94.7 receiving yards per game. He’s turned into a featured player on the Lions’ offense alongside Sam LaPorta , and the Lions backed up the Brinks truck for him this offseason, making him one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL. Theres no more Josh Reynolds in Detroit, so it’s on St. Brown, LaPorta, and Jameson Williams to carry the load.

    6. Ceedee Lamb

This one is going to get a ton of hate, as Ceedee Lamb should probably be higher on this list after the year he just had, but he has to do it again to ascend this list in my eyes. He’s coming off the best season of his young career in which he caught a league-high 135 passes for 1,749 yards, good enough for second in the NFL.

Lamb also caught 12 touchdowns and averaged 102.9 yards per game, winning a bunch of people some fantasy leagues. He’s great, but it’s tough to put him above the guys in the top five as of right now. That can change this season with another First Team All-Pro Caliber year out of the young Cowboys superstar.

    5. AJ Brown

AJ Brown is still one of the premier targets of the NFL and deserves to be in the top five. Sure, he’s a diva, but aren’t most great wide receivers in the NFL? Brown has gone over 1,000 yards in four out of his five NFL seasons, and the one he didn’t was a year that he only played 13 games. Last season, he caught 106 passes for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns in what felt like a somewhat down year for him. I am expecting Brown to kill it this season.

    4. Davante Adams

It feels like Davante Adams is the forgotten gem in the top receivers of the league. Sure, he’s getting into his thirties and has Aidan O’Connell throwing him passes, but the guy is still one of the best pass-catchers in football, regardless of his circumstances.

Last year, with O’Connell under center, Adams caught 103 passes for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns,  finishing 10th in the NFL in receiving yards and eighth in receiving touchdowns. He also leads active players in receiving touchdowns with 95.

    3. Tyreek Hill

Another guy who is getting up there in age is Tyreek Hill , but he still has some gas in the tank, as he’s shown us over the past few seasons. He’s posted over 1,700 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons and over 1,200 in four consecutive seasons.

Last season, Hill led the NFL in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, receiving yards per game, and finished sixth in the MVP race. Until he shows us otherwise, Hill is one of the league’s elite pass catchers and will be for at least a couple more seasons.

    2. Ja’Marr Chase

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=2ImnZl_0uFxBG0u00

Ja’Marr Chase didn’t have his partner in crime for a handful of games last season in Joe Burrow , but still managed to have a great year as he looks to be the NFL’s highest-paid wide receiver. Last season he put up 1,216 receiving yards on 100 receptions. He found the end zone eight times and will be a lock for double-digit touchdowns this year if Burrow stays healthy.

    1. Justin Jefferson

    https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=4UCXW7_0uFxBG0u00

This one doesn’t need a big explanation. If you’re reading this, you probably agree. Justin Jefferson battled injury all year last year, playing just 10 games, but still managing to reach 1,074 yards on 68 receptions, catching five touchdowns and averaging 15.8 yards per catch and 107.4 yards per game.

When he was healthy in 2022, he led the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving yards per game. He’ll be back for the crown this season, even if Sam Darnold or JJ McCarthy try to screw it up. The guy is that good.
