Lancaster County community holding sendoff event for local Olympian

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors will pass a resolution on July 15, 2024, honoring resident and two-time Olympian Casey Kaufhold and her teammates Jennifer Mucino-Fernandez and Catalina Gnoriega.

The Board of Supervisors is hosting a greeting and support for the United States women’s archery team from 4 to 5 pm on July 16 at the East Lampeter Township Building .

The community is encouraged to join the fun, meet the team, and help send the women of Team USA Archery off to Paris for gold.

Casey Kaufhold is a world-champion archer from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She has medals in multiple events at the Archery World Championships and will be a crucial factor in team U.SA bringing home the gold in Paris this summer.
