A visit from grandma is like a warm hug on a cold day. There's truly nothing like it. Just ask Paddington (aka "Paddy"), a Sheepdog with an affinity for his human brother and Grammy's special visits.

In the most adorable TikTok video shared by Paddington's parents ( @sheepdogpaddy ), Paddington and his brother race toward one of their favorite people to say hello. Just wait until you see their adorable greeting!

"When grammy stops over, the baby and paddy get so excited!" the caption reads. The 18-second clip opens with Paddy's baby brother hanging out in his walker. The moment the Sheepdog alerts the house that Grammy has arrived, the baby zooms around the floor to find her, zig-zagging and zipping around until he finds her loving on Paddington who's happily greeting her. The baby claps his hands cheering for his favorite dog brother and his Grammy. It's a special day for sure!

Of the fans whose days were made by watching this sweet interaction, many commented how precious their excitement is and how lucky Grammy is to have such a warm welcome.

"Omg I cannot. He is FLYING," one person said. "The way he took those corners to get to her. Pure love," another remarked. "This is so wholesome!" another added.

The people have spoken—few moments captured are as pure as this one and we hope there are many more to come!

    Sheepdogs Are Wonderful Family Pups

Paddington is a ball of floppy, fluffy love and in typical Sheepdog fashion, his gait is even unique. The American Kennel Club indicates Old English Sheepdogs are not only bred as fun-loving, intelligent jokesters who love bringing the party to any room, but they also have something in common with a very different animal. The way this breed "shuffles" or "rolls" their feet as they slow down is Sheepdog-specific and comparable to the way bears run and walk.

To everyone around them, they look like big teddy bears—and they are—but they're also just gentle giants with huge hearts! Though they were originally bred to have sheep-like, thick fur to help them blend into the herd, it's now just another part of the distinctive look that people have come to know and love.

The next time Paddington runs toward Grammy in excitement, his feet will take the lead and his human brother will follow, making them the wholesome duo we never knew we needed (but so glad we've found them)!
