Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has been selected to partake in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.

Given Clark's massive popularity in the sport of women's basketball, her inclusion is going to attract a ton of eyes and intrigue to the game.

Yet, Clark is still unsure about how seriously her and her peers will be taking the contest.

When asked about whether this year's unique All-Star Game format will lead to more intense competition during an interview on Friday, Clark said, "Ummm, I don’t really know honestly, just cause I haven’t played in one before."

"I was asking [Aliyah Boston] how seriously they take [the WNBA All-Star Game]," Clark continued, per Matthew Byrne. "I guess we’re gonna find out. I’ll just show up & do whatever.”

Clark is referring to the fact that this year's WNBA All-Star Game is a showdown between the WNBA All-Stars and the Team USA women's national basketball team.

Because this game will serve as a warm-up for Team USA's Paris 2024 Olympics run, Clark also assumed that the game would likely be more intense than it has been in past years.

But fans will have to wait until the game takes place on July 20 to see whether that's true.
