In the area where the driver was traveling, the posted speed limit is 60 mph. According to the patrol, the driver was traveling at 114 mph.

The footage appears to show the trooper turn their lights as an indicator for the driver to stop, but the driver keeps moving. A patrol spokesperson told FOX 8 sister station 2 NEWS the driver did not flee nor elude, but was just slow to stop.
