Applications open for state's ‘best’ manufacturing workplace

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Best Places to Work in Manufacturing contest returns for a third year to celebrate the state’s extensive manufacturing industry. The survey and awards program, which is presented by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, honors Hoosier manufacturing employers that are making their workplaces great.

“Manufacturing has long been one of the pillars of the Indiana economy, and we’re thrilled to honor the stalwarts in this sector that not only make a dazzling array of innovative and unique products but have created some of the best places to work not just in Indiana, but the nation,” said Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders. “The first two showcases drew applicants from all corners of the state, and as we continue to spread the word about this program, we’re seeing interest intensify and expect the field to grow.”
