Car overturns in crash off River Road into utility pole in Redings Mill

REDINGS MILL, Mo. (KOAM) — Just after 5 a.m. Saturday reports of a rollover crash on River Road just east of Redings Mill Road/Mo-86 alerted Newton County Central E-911.

Newton County Ambulance and Newton County Deputies responded. The crash was less than 1/2 mile from Redings Mill Fire main station, units arrived in moments to cut the top of the overturned passenger car leaning against a utility pole. Firefighters peeled back the top to rescue the trapped driver.

Trooper tells us on scene the female driver was transported to an area hospital. He believes the injuries are non-life-threatening.

Doug’s Towing recovered and removed the vehicle and debris.
