    64 days till Patriots season opener: Every player to wear No. 64 for New England

    The New England Patriots will open their 2024 campaign against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET, which is now 64 days away.

    Until the opening kickoff of the season for the Patriots, we'll be counting down each day by looking back at those who have worn each specific jersey number.

    Since 1960, 18 players have worn No. 64 in New England, and with 64 days until their first game of the year, here's a look at everyone who's worn the number for the team:

    OL Layden Robinson: Present

    • Drafted in the fourth round out of Texas A&M
    • Expected to compete for a starting spot in training camp

    OL Hjalte Froholdt: 2020

    • Appeared in eight games for the Patriots over two seasons
    • Also played for the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals.

    OL Chris Barker: 2013-15

    • Appeared in six games for New England over three seasons
    • Was on the roster for the Super Bowl 49 and 51 wins

    OL Donald Thomas: 2011-12

    • Appeared in 26 games for New England over two seasons
    • Also played for the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts

    OT Mark LeVoir: 2008-10

    • Appeared in 32 games for New England over three seasons
    • Also played for the St. Louis Rams and Baltimore Ravens.

    OL Gene Mruczkwoski: 2004-04

    • Appeared in 33 games for New England over three seasons, winning two Super Bowls
    • Also played for the Miami Dolphins

    OL Greg Randall: 2001-02

    • Appeared in 35 games for New England over three seasons, winning a Super Bowl
    • Also played for the Houston Texans

    • Appeared in two games for New England in his lone season with the team
