Jeopardy! has been letting too many things slide and fans are not happy .

On the Wednesday, July 3 episode, Isaac Hirsch from Burbank, California, and Dana Keane from Sarasota, Florida faced the returning champion Kelly Proulx from Billerica, Massachusetts. Kelly hit a $2,000 clue, which was in the category “Waterfalls.”

It read: "A Yosemite fall with a wispy ribbon of water that flutters in the air like a diaphanous cloth bears the name of this marital wear." For $2,000, the contestant guessed, “What is Bridalveil Falls?" Unfortunately, she was off by an "s" and host, Ken Jennings, did not want to give her the earnings .

Ken said: "It’s actually Bridalveil Fall, so we couldn’t take that. It is, 'What is a Bridalveil?'"

Viewers at home were shocked and annoyed with Kelly not being granted the earnings despite it being a letter off. A person on Reddit wrote: "I typically give long and wide deference to the judges, but f--k the judges for that ruling." Another person wrote: "There is nothing pinning the clue to ‘fall,’ so she got the required information correct. That was positively disgusting." A third wrote: "Yeesh that’s a brutal call on the last clue." A fourth person wrote: "That ruling was garbage."

Kelly's total score dropped to $3,600 landing her in last place. It was hard for Kelly to pull herself out of last place and finished in third place among her fellow competitors. After the final Jeopardy round, the non-profit communications director ended with a total of $8,000, while Dana finished with $9,800 and Isaac was crowned the champion with a total of $22,000.

This is not the first time viewers get upset at Ken and what's accepted on the show. On Monday, July 1, viewers at home saw Matt Brooks from Fredericksburg, Virginia and Zoe Strassfield from Water Mill, New York, face the returning champion Cat Pisacano from New York, New York. Matt asked for the $400 clue in "Taking You to School," which read: " Anatomy : This hollow, tubular structure, also called the voice box, contains both true and false vocal cords."

Matt pronounced the word "larnyx" incorrectly when answering. Host Ken Jennings heard the mispronunciation but still accepted the answer. This also caused a major debate among viewers on a Reddit thread.
