Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark made WNBA history on Saturday by becoming the first rookie to ever record a triple-double.

She finished the game with 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds. This came less than one day after fellow rookie Angel Reese (who Clark is locked in an intense 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year battle with) drained the first two three-pointers of her WNBA career in an elite performance.

But now the "Chi Barbie" is catching strays on social media due to Clark's record-setting day.

"... we don’t need to overthink this. Clark is -600 to win ROTY for a reason. She’s the better player," one X user wrote in a viral post.

Another fan wrote, "y’all thought caitlin’s rookie of the year race was cooked and she showed up today and snatched it right back BABY GOAT".

One X user posted a legendary video that explains Clark's take on the Rookie of the Year race perfectly.

"When we get so happy for angel reese, Clark humbles us," added another.

What's for sure is that both rookies are having fantastic seasons, and this rivalry is sure to excite WNBA fans for years to come.
